Following our candle care guidelines on this page will yield the longest burn times. You can expect 40 - 45 hours for an 8 ounce, 55-60 hours for 12 ounce and 70 -75 hours for 16 ounce. On the bottom of each candle are burning instructions and information about candle safety.
No, candles made from paraffin create petro carbon soot which is toxic to you and the environment. This is why you sometimes find stains on your walls and ceilings after burning. WrenHouse candles are non-toxic. They are made from soy wax which is a renewable natural resource. When burned they create zero carbon soot. You may find a small amount of black inside the jar which is normal. You can reduce this by trimming the wick to 1/4 inch every timeyour light your candle.
Our candles are made from 100 percent American grown and harvested soy wax, cotton wicks, and carefully selected phthalate free fragrances and oils.
Soy wax expands and contracts as the air temperature changes. This will not affect the quality or scent of your candle.
Soy wax is a natural ingredient and takes on the color of the oil used for the scent. Our products are free from dyes so you will sometimes see a difference in the color of the wax.
No, WrenHouse candles are highly scented. Soy wax produces a cleaner, fresher scent. Your candle will provide fragrance until it is gone.
